new blogger

I am new at this, Merlene Kunz Egbert Park is the name enjoying life is the game. I'm probley to old to blog---but I sure enjoy reading about everyone & the goings on. I love all the pictures. We are what they call retired, but life seems pretty busy. We have really kept the old canner busy lately everyone has decieded its time to get that 1-2 year supply. We really enjoy seeing people get some food stored away. Like Elmer says we hope we don't have to use it, but it really makes one feel good to know we are obeying the prophet. I just got released from Young Woman after 6 yrs of this calling. I served under 3 different Presidents thia time, but oh, how I love the youth !!! Have a great day!!

Merlene... NEVER too old to blog! I think it is GREAT! Reading your post reminded me that we NEED to get finished up with our food storage! We have heard it for years and years so I guess what they are pretty serious huh!?!
Now that we are neighbors we need to come visit you and you need to come visit us!

Hi Merlene,
Right about now I wish I had some of my food storage with me (other than the fat roll around my middle)
You probably remember what it was like in Mexico at first, trying to figure out what to eat and what to buy. It is an adventure for sure.
P.S. You sure don't look like a beginning blogger. you have cool paper, posted pictures and everything. You are a whiz!

How exciting that you blog too! I wish I could talk my mom into doing it, but she just won't. So feel good about yourself knowing you're more technologically advanced than DeAnn Ricks! (that's my mom, this is Natalie:)
